Creating your own story

Here you have a word cloud that contains several terms related to education. By using these words you will have to create a crazy story about a school. You can use as much words as you want to complete your task.

Google Docs:

Google docs is a tool that allows you to share documents with other people, both you and your collaborators can edit it at the same time as you are modifying the information.

You can share all kind of documents: Text, presentations, drawings, spreadsheets and forms. We are going to learn how to use it. First of all you need to create an account in Gmail and then you have to click in DRIVE, there you will find an option called CREATE, so you will have to create a document in which you will write about the most embarrassed experience you have ever had. Then you will have to share that document with all your classmates and they will have to comment your experiences.

Here you have a summary about the "Declaration on principles on Freedom of Expression"; First of all you will have to register in Voicethread webpage and then I want you to read the statements below and match them with the pictures in this Voicethread link. You will have to write the pros and the cons of these principles.

1.        Freedom of expression in all its forms and manifestations is a fundamental and inalienable right of all individuals. Additionally, it is an indispensable requirement for the very existence of a democratic society.

2.        Every person has the right to seek, receive and impart information and opinions freely under terms set forth in Article 13 of the American Convention on Human Rights.

3.        Every person has the right to access to information about himself or herself or his/her assets expeditiously and not onerously, whether it be contained in databases or public or private registries, and if necessary to update it, correct it and/or amend it.

4.        Access to information held by the state is a fundamental right of every individual.

5.        Prior censorship, direct or indirect interference in or pressure exerted upon any expression, opinion or information transmitted through any means of oral, written, artistic, visual or electronic communication must be prohibited by law.
